Almost all meetings will be taking place online for the foreseeable future. Each business must take into account their unique needs and choose software that works best for them. With large scale organisations or businesses that host conferences or town halls, WebEx is a good option as it allows large numbers of people to follow along with speeches and presentations. For others with smaller more interactive meetings, platforms like Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft teams are a very good option.
NBN Capacity
Over the past months, the NBN and the Telcos have been shifting the demand on data to more residential areas. This is a move away from the past where large retail and business districts get priority on the data during peak business hours. For people who are experiencing slower speed or dropouts, it is important to contact the provider to ensure that the NBN is aware of where the system needs additional assistance. The more individuals working from home stay on top of this the better the situation will improve in the long term.
